Description

MC-Epo Paint H.B is a two-pack high-build polyamide epoxy coating for steel surfaces.

Where to use

Protection of steel structures against extreme conditions.

Where to use

Protection of steel structures against extreme conditions.

Advantages

Excellent corrosion protection. Outstanding resistance to extreme weather conditions.

Drying time

Substrate Surface dry Cured Recoat min. Recoat max. 10°C 6 h 14 d 18 h * 25°C 4 h 7 d 10 h * 35°C 3 h 5 d 6 h *

Application conditions

Typical values at 100 µm DFT with free air circulation. The surface should be free from contamination before the subsequent coat. During application, substrate temperature should be at least 10°C and at least 3°C above the dew point of the air.

Surface preparation

Surface should be clean and dry. Use blast primer or blast cleaning to Sa 2½ as stated in the approved source.

Packaging

20 kg component A + 2.6 kg component B; 5 kg component A + 0.65 kg component B.

Storage & handling

Keep containers tightly closed in a cool, dry place. Handle with care and stir well before use for at least 3-5 minutes.
